52 Weeks of Color – Week 5 Sepia

This weeks color was Sepia… and it was rather difficult. I mostly used different shades of brown though I do have orange lippy on and some random items inspired by the holidays as well. I’m not a fan of browns/yellows/orange tones in RL at ALL.. but in SL it’s easy to make any color compliment your skintone.. . Whew! On to the photos!

mouthie: sanu – 3 versions in the lucky board now

scarf, sweater: justb – long sleeve wool tee beige *new* (with love hunt. also a male version)
pants: ricielli – eliza highwaist pants (they are having a $20L sale on all things red until Dec 7th!)
boots: courtisane – marie lu brown

I wasn’t feeling very inspired this week.. probably because I was so damn busy in RL. Details below!

tattoo layer: cheap makeup – shimmer me timbers 1
skin: tarnished – charlotte pale pure *new* (with love hunt)
dress: the sea hole – stag dress *new* ($50L sale.. not sure if it is still on)
belt: fri.day – wide waist belt
tights: concrete flowers – simple leggings
boots: dustarrs – leather boots *new* (make him over hunt)

This weeks color was tough for me to attempt without breaking down and buying new items. This blogger challenge has certainly made me aware of how limited my inventory is when it comes to a wide arrange of colors. So here is my take on GOLDENROD…

skin : glam affair – winter skin *new* (at TDR now)

makeup/tattoo : glam affair
shawl : toki doki – shu cold
tank top : so many styles – loose tank *new* (at TDR now..i think?)
skirt : so many styles – chiffon lacey skirt – grey *new*
shoes : 50 flats – yellow

I’ve never participated in a blogger challenge before, and I’m a week late for the 52 weeks of color challenge, but since it sounds really fun… I’m going to do it anyway! Maybe this will persuade me to blog more often.
