Oneword in Second Life – Wonderland Round & More!

Oh hi! I took a bit of a break from blogging at the end of June because I (drunkenly) decided to start DJing weekly again! It’s fun, though, I’m not complaining! It’s just taken me a little be longer to find the time management sweet spot.

This post features some items from the July round of Oneword. Oneword is an event that focuses around a new word for each round. This time the word is “Wonderland” so if you are a Alice in Wonderland fan you won’t want to miss it. The event starts today, July 1st and runs until the end of the month.

Mermaid Inspired Outfit & Little Bones at June Chapter Four

It’s past 7am here and I still haven’t slept. I am going to make this a super quick post. The hair I am wearing is newww from Little Bones and will be at this months Chapter Four which started today! The photos were taken at the nostos deer sim.

New Little Bones & Collabor88 May

Wow. It’s been two weeks or longer since I’ve had the time to blog! I’ve been keeping busy in RL with work and working on my RL blog… it’s still nowhere near ready to launch. Hmph!

I have another darling pink outfit for you today. Please forgive the photos, something weird is happening when I use advanced lighting model and I wanted to get a post up, so no time to troubleshoot!

The hair is from Little Bones and it is possibly my favorite hair that Nova has made to date. It is Winehouse-esque. LOVE IT. The dress is from Epic and the shoes are NEWWWW from half deer at this months Collabor88 (I still need to go back and get a ton more!). The yummeh sundae inspired shoes come with a color change HUD for the heels so you can mix and match with your outfit. The nailpolish is available from Bella Elephante at the Fit For a Princess event which runs until May 24th. My other makeup is from a.e.meth and everything in their store is only $10L right now, so be sure to hit up the store closing sale. Details and pics below!

Newness From Magika

I don’t own very may short hair styles in SL, but Magika makes some of the cutest around! I love the curl on the new hair “Thoughtful” it’s all kinds of adorable. I’m also wearing a top from Pixicat, a store I recently discovered, and the long skirt is from Lacuna Inc! The cuff bracelet is a subscribo gift from Pure Poison, they also have a TON of group gifts out at their main store. If you haven’t been there in a while.. it’s definitely worth a trip.

The new items Infiniti has out for The Pose Fair are soo adorable! I especially love this blowing bubbles set which actually comes with a two female pose ball and extra bubbles for rezzing. NEW LAMB HAIR!! I love both of the new releases, I’m wearing baby in these photos. I’m obsessed with braids, like the rest of the world. The bohemian drop waist dress from Leonard is available in a range of colors from light to dark at the spring round of The Seasons Story! You can also find the tattoo’s and shoes there as well.

The Monochromatic Fair in Second Life – SHOES

I don’t know about you, but I have been shoe crazy since the Slink feet came out. I love not having to tint feet anymore, yay appliers! I would cringe every time I bought cute mesh shoes that had feet attached because I am a terrible tinter, no matter how easy the HUD, I just can’t do it.. even if I use the RGB or hexadecimal code they never seemed to match. Then the Slink feet came along and cured that problem.. many thanks to them for that! Nowwww.. Cue me going around the grid buying all the shooz.

In this post I’m going to feature some of the shoes that are available in The Monochromatic Fair, This is by no means all of the shoes, just some of them, in some of the colors. The fair opens TOMORROW! So don’t fret if you can’t access the sim, the SLurl’s I have posted won’t work until after midnight.. and after the jump I will post the MAP and the SLurls for all of the stores with excellent brans like Vessi men’s shoes and for women!.

Ariskea

I *love* shoes with ankle straps, I will buy them every time.. in RL or SL! These amazing shoes from Ariskea are shown in a few of my favorite shades, but there are more to pick from! They work with Slink’s Mid feet.

Maxi Gossamer

The Maxi Gossamer sandals come with a color change HUD and I believe you have around 10 shades to choose from.. I just picked a few of my favorites. These shoes work with the Slink flat feet.

Mon Cheri

Mon Cheri has an adorable sandal out as well as a gorgeous dress and some other items! The shoes come in black, white and blue hues and are compatible with the Slink flat feet.

Morphine

Morphine has some over the knee boots out in a few different shades! You don’t need Slink feet for these, and the colors are so pretty!

Sakide

Sakide has several shades of outfits & shoes available. I chose to blog a few of the polkadot maryjane heels because I love mary janes and I love polkadots! 😀 These just come with an alpha layer, no need for Slink feet or HUD tinting here. They *do* come with a color change HUD, each hue has 3 different shoe color options to choose from.
