Traphouse Collective and GatorTot

Any blogger knows that it never fails.. you finally get some time to do a blog post and then you seem to be in high demand amongst your buddies. My friends are the best. I probably would have left SL earlier this year if it weren’t for them. So when Gator asked for a TP while I was taking snaps for this post, I figured a little more reptilian skin couldn’t hurt, right? If you have ever met him you know he likes to jump on heads, so I had to tell him to cut that shit out for a second while I snapped a few pics of us. 😀

It Finally Feels Like Springtime! & Boo to Website Downtime :(

The weather is so lovely, but I am going to rant anyway. Lol. This is more like a public service announcement to all of my fellow broke-ass bloggers.

If you are using a free webhost (in my case it was 000webhost.com) to host your blog you may want to do some research on their company. My site was down for DAYS and I have been dealing with probably the most ridiculous tech support staff in the world. Basically they hijacked my site for a TOS violation that never happened. Then they wanted me to pay (upgrade) in order to get my site back (doesn’t make sense, does it??). Since I didn’t have a backup of the database and I knew I would have to recreate the last 10 or so posts… and I just DONOT have time for that right now… I bit the bullet and paid for a month of service so I can just download everything I need and start moving forward! I’ve decided to go with HostGator this time because I have heard great things. It is not free, but I am over getting dicked around by shady webhosting companies.

Gah, ok, on to the actual blog post that I’ve been waiting to put up all week (sorry for the hiatus and hope you like the looks!!):

52 Weeks of Color – Week 26 Tangarine

I spent a few hours yesterday adding a ton of new plugins to my blog… testing them out, hating some, keeping others. It’s been a long time since I tinkered with wordpress. I forgot how time consuming & stressful it can be.

I’m doing week 26’s color a bit early because I am going to have a busy (exhausting, no-fun kind of busy) couple of weeks coming up I think. DO NOT WANT TO FALL BEHIND AGAIN. Somehow purple snuck its way into this weeks look as well! This weeks color, however, is tangerine..

52 Weeks of Color – Week 18 Ecru

I really can’t believe I’ve kept up with this.. sure the past few weeks I have been a little late but RL does happen. Just saying.. with my short attention span I’m shocked I haven’t given up already! This weeks color is Ecru. Boo to bland colors!
